This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your access to and use of the GB10 Studio compute rental platform, including all associated APIs, services, infrastructure, and software (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP in full. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. Definitions
"Service" means the GB10 Studio compute rental platform at gb10.studio, including the API, web interface, inference endpoints, and all associated infrastructure.
"User" or "you" means any individual or entity that has registered for, accesses, or uses the Service.
"Session" means a billable compute session during which a User accesses GPU inference capacity through the Service.
"Credentials" means API keys, session tokens, JWT tokens, invite codes, or any authentication material issued to a User.
"Content" means any data, prompts, completions, files, or other material submitted to or generated by the Service.
"Operator" means GB10 Studio and its operators, owners, and administrators.
2. Permitted Uses
The Service is intended for lawful, legitimate workloads. Permitted uses include:
Running large language model (LLM) inference for personal, research, or commercial applications
Software development, prototyping, and testing of AI-integrated applications
Academic and scientific research
Benchmarking model performance within the scope of a reserved session
Generating text, code, summaries, translations, and other outputs via the OpenAI-compatible API
Any other use that is lawful, ethical, and consistent with the terms of this AUP
All permitted uses must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, referral to appropriate authorities.
3.1 Illegal and Harmful Activity
Generating, distributing, or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexually exploitative content involving minors
Facilitating, planning, or promoting acts of terrorism, mass violence, or political extremism
Engaging in fraud, identity theft, phishing, or social engineering attacks
Violating any applicable laws including export control laws (e.g., U.S. EAR, OFAC sanctions)
Using the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under applicable federal, state, or local law
3.2 Harassment and Abuse
Generating content that harasses, intimidates, threatens, or targets specific individuals or groups
Producing hate speech, incitement to violence, or content that discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or other protected characteristics
Creating deepfakes or non-consensual synthetic media of real individuals
Doxxing or facilitating the collection and disclosure of personal information about others without consent
3.3 Security and Infrastructure Attacks
Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any connected systems without written authorization
Attempting to circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limiting, or billing mechanisms
Launching or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against any target
Generating, distributing, or deploying malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code
Exploiting vulnerabilities in the Service or attempting to gain unauthorized access to Operator systems or other users' data
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service or its underlying infrastructure
3.4 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
Using the Service to generate bulk unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or phishing emails
Automating scraping of third-party websites or services in violation of those services' terms
Generating synthetic reviews, fake testimonials, or manipulative content at scale
3.5 Misuse of Credentials and Resources
Sharing, selling, or transferring API keys, session tokens, or account credentials to third parties
Using the Service on behalf of undisclosed third parties without prior written consent from the Operator
Circumventing session or billing limits through automated session cycling, token sharing, or other means
Allowing Credentials to be embedded in publicly accessible repositories, websites, or applications
3.6 Disinformation and Influence Operations
Generating coordinated inauthentic content for the purpose of deceiving the public or influencing elections
Producing synthetic news articles, academic papers, or official-looking documents intended to deceive
Creating fake social media personas or bot networks at scale
4. Resource and Compute Limits
The Service provides access to finite GPU compute capacity. Users agree to:
Use only the compute capacity allocated within their reserved session and time window
Not attempt to monopolize compute resources beyond what is provisioned in their reservation
Respect API rate limits as documented and enforced by the platform
Terminate sessions when no longer in active use to conserve shared infrastructure capacity
Not run continuous workloads designed to maximize token throughput for the sole purpose of extracting maximum compute value relative to billing cost
The Operator reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate sessions that consume excessive resources, degrade the experience of other users, or violate resource use guidelines.
5. Account Security and Credentials
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Credentials. You agree to:
Use a strong, unique password for your GB10 Studio account
Immediately notify the Operator at abuse@gb10.studio if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any Credential compromise
Not store API keys or session tokens in plaintext in version control systems, public repositories, or client-side code
Rotate API keys promptly upon suspected or confirmed compromise
The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your Credentials.
6. Data, Privacy, and Confidentiality
By using the Service, you acknowledge:
Prompts and completions transmitted through the inference API may be logged for abuse detection, billing reconciliation, and service improvement unless otherwise agreed in writing
You should not submit personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), financial account data, or other regulated personal data through the inference API unless you have taken appropriate safeguards and have a lawful basis to do so
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit complies with all applicable privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA where applicable
The Operator will not sell your personal data or inference content to third parties
7. Content Standards
You are responsible for all Content you submit to or generate through the Service. You agree that you will not use the Service to produce Content that:
Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or pornographic (except where explicitly permitted in a separate written agreement)
Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
Contains medical, legal, or financial advice intended to substitute for qualified professional guidance without appropriate disclaimers
Impersonates the Operator, its staff, or other identifiable real individuals
The Operator does not pre-screen user Content but reserves the right to remove or refuse Content that violates this AUP.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of prompts and inputs you submit. Outputs generated by the Service are provided to you subject to applicable law and the terms of the model license under which the underlying model is distributed.
You grant the Operator a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your Content solely as necessary to deliver the Service. The Operator does not claim ownership of your Content.
You may not use the Service to reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works of content in a manner that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
9. Monitoring and Audit
The Operator reserves the right to:
Monitor API usage, session activity, and billing records to detect abuse, fraud, and AUP violations
Log request metadata (timestamps, token counts, endpoint paths, IP addresses) for operational and compliance purposes
Cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or emergency request)
Monitoring is conducted in accordance with applicable law and the Operator's Privacy Policy.
10. Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this AUP may result in, at the Operator's sole discretion and without prior notice:
Temporary suspension of your account and active sessions
Permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any remaining balance
Revocation of all Credentials and API keys
Referral of conduct to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities
Civil or criminal liability where applicable
The Operator will attempt to provide advance notice and an opportunity to cure non-egregious violations where feasible, but is not obligated to do so. Severe violations (e.g., CSAM, DDoS, fraud) will result in immediate termination without notice or refund.
Account terminations for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds of any prepaid balance or unused session time.
11. Reporting Abuse
If you observe or suspect abuse of the Service by another user — including generation of illegal content, credential theft, resource abuse, or harassment — please report it promptly:
Your notice must include: (i) identification of the copyrighted work; (ii) identification of the infringing material; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement of good faith belief; (v) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury; and (vi) your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices and repeat infringement policies are governed by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE OPERATOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information. You are solely responsible for validating outputs before relying on them for any consequential purpose.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This AUP is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under this AUP shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for violations that cause irreparable harm.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration relating to the Service.
15. Changes to This Policy
The Operator reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account or via a notice posted on the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
It is your responsibility to review this AUP periodically. The most current version will always be available at gb10.studio/aup.html.
